Francisco Márquez has given a lecture about his work as a filmmaker at the prestigious LENS School of Visual Arts (Madrid), and has shown his last short documentary about the Prespa National Park, filmed in Los Balcanes in 2016-2017.


This is the last trip to the Balkans to finalize the video we have been commissioned on the beautiful Prespa National Park, border between Greece, Albania and Macedonia. Francisco Márquez is preparing to film Dalmatian pelicans in heat and spectacular landscapes and aerial shooting covered by snow and ice.


At this time we are filming in beautiful forests of beech, birch and oak to complete the video we are doing about the National Park Prespa (Greece).

Our filming in the Prespa National Park (Greece) continues satisfactorily, moving there in the summer to continue recording some human activities (fishing, artisanal cheese making) and aerial shooting with drone. We plan another trip in February to record Dalmatian pelicans in heat.

SKADAR, The Living Med’s latest multimedia production has been published on the National Geographic website, which is followed by millions of people worldwide. Our project has begun a partnership with this prestigious North American institution to disseminate the multimedia features that we are going to do in the Mediterranean Basin.

Jaime Rojo is in Montenegro taking photographs and filming on Skadar Lake for a multimedia that we are doing about conservation project of the Dalmatian Pelican in the Balkans. It is a commissioned by the CEPF (Critical Ecosystem Partneship Fund) about this magnificent species, the world’s largest bird with a vulnerable population.
